What we offer

We offer a unique introduction to the battles of Verdun, the Argonne Forest, the Meuse-Argonne, the St. Mihiel Salient and Champagne.

Largely abandoned at the end of the war, these battlefields retain many remarkable features that have long-since disappeared on other parts of the Western Front but which help to understand the background to the fighting.

As historians who have walked these battlefields for years, we have in-depth knowledge of the actions, the people and the places.

With our expert local knowledge we can give you a detailed introduction to these historic battles and show you many unknown sites, such as camps, gun pits, tunnels and trench systems, that will take you away from the usual tourist routes.

  • We organise walking and driving tours of all sectors of the battlefields.
  • We are entirely flexible and individual tours can often be arranged at short notice.
  • We advise on accommodation, transport and meals. If you wish, we will make reservations in your name.
  • We meet travellers by arrangement at various destinations.
  • We issue you with relevant maps and plans.
  • We assure you of an unforgettable experience.

NB: From June 2007 the TGV (high speed train) from Paris will stop close to Verdun, which will put the battlefield at little more than one hour's journey from Paris.

The "Wall Street Journal" was absolutely correct when it described Christina as a "world class guide". [She] makes a personal investment in her tour groups, going to great lengths to be sure everyone at every level of knowledge gets to understand the "terrain and situation". It was the tour of a lifetime.
